The Michigan Aesthetic Provider Network (MAPN) unites nurses, aestheticians, medical directors, and business owners across the state of Michigan. MAPN is dedicated to forging strength and resilience through community and seeks to connect voices and experts from around the state. We have a joint mission of creating regulations in the aesthetic medicine industry as well as further expanding and clarifying the scope of our practice.
Board of Directors
Our board of directors is composed of members who have decades of experience under their belts in the aesthetics industry. MAPN is founded by people who have first-hand experience–people who care because they understand what it’s like to be in the field. Our members are united in their passion and their dedication toward superior patient care.
MAPN Mission
MAPN is grounded in a mission to support and demand continued education in order to ensure safe and quality practices throughout the industry. By establishing a unified voice in Michigan, this organization can achieve statewide standardization for medical aesthetics, ensuring that this industry is able to progress in an effective and ethical direction.
The aesthetic medicine industry is often troubled with proposed legislation that is created without input from real experts in the field. In addition, the scope of our practice is often shakily defined, creating circumstances that could be harmful to both providers and patients. MAPN is dedicated to improving the industry by ensuring the protection of our rights as well as the protection of our patients.
Dedicated to Improving the Industry
Continuing the process and mission of education is crucial to guarantee compliance practice standards for aesthetic medical providers. Our industry is threatened by legislators who have no stake or expertise in the field.
